The Dog Blog
Dogs are better than humans. This is a fact.
Recently I made an artwork of my dog Hazel in an old zine format with some ~wavy~ fancy lettering. (Side note: when I was a kid I loved to do the title pages in my school books with various types of bubble writing. Classmates would often ask me to write theirs.) Anyway after I shared the artwork of Hazel, my instagram blew up with requests from people to make the same sort of artworks of their dogs. How could I say no to a slew of photos of these gorgeous animals?! Of course I said yes. Thus, the Dog Blog was born.
In this space I’ll share the images as I finish them. This project is something I’m doing for fun in my spare time. A friend of mine made me realise it’s important not to monetise everything, and that has really stuck with me. We can still do things just because we love and enjoy them. (Fuck you Instagram.)
